Gender and Performance Study

This performance research explores the politics of gender in dance through somatic explorations. It's particular interest is in an activation of the space between performer and audience. Discomfort, as a performative experience is investigated as a field of potentiality. Can sitting with discomfort open up new understandings of ourselves and our gendered interrelations?
